I was driving through a small town in Texas southwest of San Antonio, when I see out of the corner of my eye an A Body Buick. I stoped my van turned around and pulled into gravel road. I was shocked:jd:, there it was a 1970 Buick GS 455 sitting on all 4 drums but none the less completed (less front grill) and me being a sceptic took the VIN # down and sure enough 70 GS. It had all the badging but no tach or buckets??? I know by the VIN it is a GS. The strange thing was it was in front of mobile home that looked run down, I left a note in the mail box with my number just in case I can get it cheap. My wife will kill me if I get another GS project:Do No: . I am still trying to get mine put back together. Anyhow I hope I get a call and a deal, it is a shame to let that car just weather away. I was a gold bronze color with no vinyl top which I like and was manufactured in Kansas.

    Tach and buckets are options.

My 71 GS455 didn't have a tach either. It did have buckets, but no console (another option).

Did it still have the motor and the rest of the drivetrain?

I didnt get under the hood because I didnt want to get shot at if there was someone at the mobile home(but ohh how I wanted to lift the hood. It had GS badging nad 455 emblems old but intact. Maybe I will go by and leave a note on mobile home. :Brow: \
