The 1970 GS350 my family bought in 1976/1977 had the rear defrost on the driver's side. I moved it to the center to add a speaker on that side. The rear defrost didn't work as well in the center.

The first time he had the car, he wanted 40k. I don't know exactly but cars at Mecum were down( but not much) except for the documented rare ones. A friend paid 205k for the lightweight 64 Ford Galaxie race car and was excited about his purchase. The 66 Olds I went to buy was a POS and it brought 45 and was no saled. It had F-85 doors on the car and a ton of incorrect parts. A 20 k car at best. The nice Orange 72 GS conv Stg 1 brought 65k and was no saled. No deals at this sale in my humble opinion.

Despite the supposed shortage of available cash nice cars are still in demand...

The mecum website shows the Orange one as sold at $70k, so maybe a deal was struck after the auction.

The passenger side door must have had issues. The tumor on the inside and surrounding area could have been fixed better.....at that price.

I have dealt with Lee before. He very nice to talk with and seemed to be knowlegeable about many different cars.
