Or the interior. Too lazy to take it off the trailer, I guess.

Nice car.....probably run tens with a 4.10 gear vs that 4.56! Maybe it was run at a 1/8 mile track.

That car must have a very tight converter. I ran outta rpms with 4.33 and 28's. I had to go with the 4.10's and 29's.

John, If you want to sell something and get top dollar for it why would you take the pic's well sitting on the trailer in a cluttered shed? No good side, engine, trunk, interior etc. What you can see of it looks to be a nice car! I looked at this car on e-bay earlier today for a short time only because of the lack off pic's. I'm sure your friend Chuck is a good guy so instead off kicking your feet in the sand here, phone him and tell him to redo his pic's and he will generate more interest and a bigger dollar. A picture is worth a thousand words..........Chris

I certainly WAS NOT trying to knock on the car or the owner personally, I hope that was not assumed. It looks and sounds like a very nice car! I ONLY commented on the QUALITY of the pics, and/or LACK OF. IF I was to sell a car of this caliber, I would FLOOD eBay with photos...... pics worth a thousand words!

I hope I've made my point clear.

Not trying to flame the guy, but he does need more pics if he wants top dollar. Also, to me, the ad is a little misleading. It says:

"1970 Buick GS Stage 1 drag car. Street legal. This is a true GS, but the Stage 1 option was later installed. "

IMHO, this makes it sounds like it is an original 455 car, but not a stage 1, but the VIN checks out to be a GS 350. Didn't know you could "later install the Stage 1 option" to a GS 350.

    Hello All,

Lets start this over, I have all too often read postings that just slam the car or the owner. I believe that there are some honest people still out there trying to sell or buy Buicks, and this community is all to quick to jump all over something. Be it ignorance or shaddy dealings, we as a Buick owners need to defend and teach, not slam and bash.

With that said I do not personally know Chuck C., only from a few phone calls. When we spoke about the car he talked highly of the car. He also mentioned the orig.350 and of the past history, where from and how long he has owned it. As for the pics I agree more and better quality would be nice when buying from ebay. So is this just shaddy or ignorance please call and ask first is all I am saying.

If anyone would like Chuck's number please call me. If anyone feels they need to speak with myself personally please do so.

    John
