It's got an aluminum headed, 463 CID Stage 1 engine, and it only makes 475 ft. lbs. of torque? How does one do that?

    So you buy it for$45K.

Put a NEW paint job on it and Rally wheels you could have a really nice car.
Surprised to see the base interior (door panels).
Get back to the Ram Air induction, not a fan of the electric fans.
According to the dash, was once an A/C car.

I mean, for 45K that's a great price if it's a REAL Stage 1 and matching numbers (except for the 3.73 differential & Alum heads).

    My thoughts too!

Honestly, while not my thing per se, I don't hate the paint/engine compartment. Very 80's type build. Prob. orig. 128 base interior. Would look better w/the rocker molding (looks like the mounting strip is even there for it).

I don't think I've seen a cleaner OEM clear top overflow tank.

It appears to have never had any coolant swishing around in it.

Now that you pointed that out, I noticed the windshield washer tank is also super clean with no washer fluid.
Maybe these are brand new components?

Gearshift handle is black, should be light brown woodgrain for a 1970.

The engine and it's compartment looks super clean, nicely dressed wire looms.
Great buy for 45k. Vet (Navy)

This car's paint vaguely reminds me of a Corvette my brother brought home in the early 80's. It has a very 70's vibe to it. I am not a fan of the paint job but I've seen much worse. As Brett said, putting the rocker trim back on and swapping out to some Rallye wheels, I think it'd look much better.

    I agree 100%.
I would love to see this car painted in Buick Stratomist Blue.
Big question I have, this car looks to be more Show car then powerhouse. Wish there were a lot more stats on the engine.

Compression, cam, type of alum heads, who build the engine.

It's been on a Dyno, HP seem to be on the low side, especially the torque. Engine appears loaded with power adders.

    Very strange Buick. VET

    Wow, what a transformation!

He's got a ton of money in this Buick, WHY, only 45k?

Hum, no takers? Because it's ugly and out of the norm for a Buick build?
Just don't get his styling. VET

Glad to see that kept original drive train, but that current paint scheme kills the value of that car.
