1 of 230 code 78 and 1 of 244 3 speed manual. This one needs to go back to original

If the seller had advertised it for what it really is he would likely get more attention. Not to mention it’s a Leeds plant car. Very rare. I was seriously considering this one.

Somebody wasted time and money on that "new paint" job.

Did they have to pay extra for all of the holes in their "new interior"?

The paint is unfortunate. That's what happens when inexperience paints silver. Headliner and rear seat are easy fixes....

Some rust and frame not straight

It is curious that they would use 455 fender emblems on the car if it was originally a 350 car, as most people who swap to a 455 would opt for Stage 1 emblems.

Anyone have a contact number for the guy? I don't have Facebook. I send an email through hemmings but no response

What's the price? There two sell prices, Marketplace and Hemmings.
    Marketplace $7,500.
    Hemmings $13,500.

Kerry, how do you know the frame is not frame straight?
    Is that in the write-up?
That's a BIG deal. Vet (Navy)

Restomod????.....I mean I guess compared to a Hudson or Studebaker.......bent frame isn't necessarily a concern ....frames are straightened everyday...I've pulled diamonds out of trucks that were almost 12in b4...replaced rails..etc

I imagine the price is easier changed on FB vs Hemmings

At 7500, I’m thinking it would be a hell of a fun car.

If it was closer, I would of scooped it up. I literally have everything in stock for it-

    Good running 350
    4 barrel intake
    Muncie M21
    All the 4 speed linkage
    A set of 14×6 Rallys
    A good AC dashpad
    All the AC parts
    Tach and gauge cluster

I would of fixed it up and cleaned up the basement at the same time! Lol

@CJay You get another chance to clear out the basement: 1970 buick skylark for sale by owner - Los Angeles, CA - craigslist

    Available again for $13,500.

I like seeing the buildsheet, confirms that it is a 3-speed manual car.

    Just called him. Lol....

    goodfellas-stuttering.gif

He bought it from the prior guy last week admittedly for "alot" less than 7500. Prior owner was a friend supposedly. When questioned about the prior owners assertion the frame was damaged, that when he started stuttering. Evasive answers, the "as far as I know, the frame looks fine". I even asked him if I could get his friends number....more stuttering.

    Something smells about it.

Instaflip. I had the build sheet already. Otherwise I’d have been speculating. Also confirms it’s a Leeds car
