I found this for sale on ebay, it may be in the wrong section, as he's not getting any action. I don't know how to link so heres item # 170026967371 o No:
Here is the direct link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170026967371&fromMakeTrack=true
Looks like nice car. Seller states that it is not concours material. I notice that the cross braces for the core support are missing. Also, alternator brace is for an A/C car and the fire wall seems to have a few parts not present. Also needs windshield washer hoses and the radiator top support panel is from a later model car.
How about it looks to be a 71-72 body? It has the guard for the vapor recovery system in the trunk. All 3 of my 70s have vapor recovery on them and none have this setup. Every 71-72 I have owned did.
You guys are awsome to pick all these items out from a few pics? I guess the bottom line is... is it a real gsx?
Ad says BA code trans, which would be correct for a non stage car. says he has documents, hmm, not to far from me to go check it out.
Try it Larry. What's to lose? Maybe something everyone else is too cynical about and you get a great deal. As long as you do all your homework.
What's with the "lady driven" comment. My GS is "lady driven" and I beat the crap outta it at the track! Just remember that when you are buying a "lady driven" car!
He Changed The Trans Code From Bb To Ba . Because I Used Copy And Paste To Post It Here Yesterday 9/7/06
Thats good to know i just picked one up for my 71 stage1.. I myself think it makes the car.. I wish they were standard on all the more optioned cars like the GSs and Stage1 cars.. Randy
