In a moment of extreme luck the other day I was given a 70 Riviera GS. ... with a cracked block :( Other than that, it's in good condition, straight body, decent interior, new brakes etc... Now, as I'm sure you people can imagine, there ain't too many 70 Rivieras in the UK, so apart from the "interesting" fuel consumption nobody knows anything about them. So.... once I've sorted the block, what's the first thing I should do to make it a bit more amusing? Do the heads? Cam? I'm gonna balance it while it's in bits anyway, and shove some decent rod bolts in. Any suggestions?

    Cheers.

Even though it's a different year Riviera, a lot of things interchange between the years 1966 to 1970.

A 1970 Riviera is a rare sight here in the states! Let alone where you live!
    I wish I had your luck.:beer

Poke around and you'll get your questions answered. :TU:
