OK...the recent unfinished Stage car on ebay has lit the old fire to find my old Stage I 4 speed car. Its not likely, but I am looking for a 70 Stage I original 4 speed...no conversions please. I know, good luck right...well we are looking and would prefer to buy from board member or seller w/ member references.

If anybody knows of the 70 platinum mist 4 speed Stage car that sold on ebay a couple of years ago...that was the old car of mine we would like to find. Again, good luck right? But you never know.

    Thanks everybody

    Wade,

TMMM454 has one. A really nice one. Not sure if he will part with it though. One can always ask. -Mike

did you contact the stage-1 registry with a VIN to see if someone has it registered?

Once again carbon copy of the one that got away...trishield mirror on drivers side only, I'll have to e-mail him just to see for my own curiosity. I might be mistaken, but I think I have contacted this fellow before after seeing this set of pictures somewhere.

I may just have to pay to do a VIN search, but unless they were ever wanting to sell it really would be for naught.

At this point, willing to trade + $$$ for the right car

    Re: silver mist?

Tell me about it...that car is not mine though. I saw some pictures from him a few months ago and was on it. After some history checking alas it was not mine. Long story short, the car is gone, the ex-wife is gone but the bills she racked up and the child support payments are here every month to remind me of the bad choice I made back in 91. I have 3 wonderful sons though so it isn't all bad...and I have a wife that now that has given me the green light to track that old ride down

Wade, if they weren't willing to sell, at least you'd know where it was.
Maybe stay in touch, or possibly choose another route.

Although, there is something to be said for the thrill of the chase.
