I just bought a rebuilt q jet for my worked 350,it's a 7041540 from a 71 455 auto car,date code 0611.Now I know I have a 71 car with a 69 350,but I never checked the carb #'s,figuring it was a 350 carb.I just looked now and it reads 7041242,which is a 71 stage 1 carb,but the date code reads 0535 which I believe is a 1975 replacement carb.So I didn't do my homework,and probably have a better carb on the car then the one I just got,though it is cleaner and rebuilt.Is there much of a difference? Is the replacement stage 1 carb worth anything?
