70GS455 vs. Audi A4 2.0T

    Spanked a Yuppie driving a purty little Audi A4 2.0 T.
He had been tailgating me(I was going 58 in a 45). So as soon as we got to where the road changed from one lane to two lanes he punched his little red car. We were starting up a fairly steep hill where it would be hard for a cop to see us for a good ways. No traffic in front of us for a long ways. From about a 55mph roll the Big Block Buick with a 2:93 is hard to handle, even for a 2 liter turbo. I spanked him hard and made him like it.
I should probably pick on something with a bigger rubber band but he axed for it...

Today's lesson: Don't mess with the guy driving the Buick.

Awesome Kill, Bert! :3gears: The owner of the Audi must have totally underestimated what your Buick was capable of doing! Some of those little audis have some good zip to them, I mean they aren't exactly the slowest thing on the road, since most of them have some pretty "hopped-up" powerhouses in them, but I guess they are no match for a high powered V8! :TU:

    Audi's are quick1

I am sure he could smoke me on the interstate. Audi makes a sports car that is probably a lot faster than the one the yuppie was driving. I think the sports car is called a TT.

That yuppie might have figured that I did not have "lettin off sense" as we use to say in the dirt trackin days.

Hey Bert, isn't your GS Stock? He might have had the power on top end, but w/ 2.93's you should still keep up w/ him on top end anyhow. Put some 2.73's or lower(like 2.56's :Brow: ) and I know you could take him on top end.(and if you have a good suspension too) Those 455's have the low end torque to take on most sports cars, so if you want the car to be supreme in any category it would probably be take off, but top end can be really good on older cars if they are geared correctly and have a good suspension! W/ 2.93's and if your car is stock I bet it has a good 135-140 mph potential! :TU:

I think the S4 is the quicker of the group, a v8 for about 50k. Should be a little quicker than the TT.

ain't that the bi-turbo one, or is that the RS6? supposedly 450 HP and AWD

    65electra401 My 225 ain't a Cadillac

Umm... I may be mistaken, but arent the TT's just turbo'd 4 cylinders? There is a guy at the local hang-out that has one, and my brother just completely obliterated him in his '02 Trans Am. And by the amount of space that we beat him by, i am guessing that my '65 Electra could probably keep up with him. Haha! THERE'S NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!!!!! Thats for sure

  13. TT's aren't really fast, they're just nice quick little cars with an optional turbo 4cyl that's either 1.8 or 2.0L (can't remember which)

The Audi you need to look out for is identifyable by the little fender flares and is called an RS6. For $90k you better believe it's fast! And they come in wagon form too. S4's can get up and go too, they used to be turbo 6's but are now V8's I believe.

$90k for a wagon? Some people are just plain insane. And not the good kind of insanity where you buy alot of Buicks either.

Yesterday at lunch, I was cruising the freeway at about 70-75 when I saw some black spots behind me/next to me/way ahead of me.
I think the one in front was a new Black Z06, I think the one in the back was an Audi, I just saw the three rings, couldn't get a number on it. I am not even sure it was a Z06, but it was in front and they were haulin.

the RS6 is a bi-turbo V8 factory rated somewhere around 450 HP and AWD, i've only seen one so far... looks kinda subdued under the hood, but looks ARE decieving

Sounds like something you could go head to head with an M5 with

" For 2003, Audi introduced its reply to BMW and Mercedes in the form of the ballistic RS6. Packing a Bi-Turbo version of its high-revving 4.2liter V8, a racing inspired suspension, huge drilled rotors at all four corners, and 8-piston front calipers,"

I work for an AUDI dealership in parts and they are fast but I know any BIG BLOCK BUICK can wipe them in a straight line. I have driven them fast on race tracks in training and they do handle very nice and the RS6 is wicked fast the NEW S8 will have the Lambo V10 in it too bad these cars are so FRIGGIN expensive.. I'll keep all my Buicks any day :TU: But I do like when they send me on training courses to beat the crap out of there cars  and others in a comparison ( at real race tracks with real race car trainers!!! ) FOr the money I would rather dive a Buick!!! but beware of anything that has S4 or RS4 or S8 hehehe

All Audi Horse Power numbers are to the road !! :eek2: not the engine

    Ken

The new R10 Lemans car has a Twin Turbo V12 Diesel !!!!!!
