71-72 Overflow Tanks+Tops

Here are two of them...described as follows

    1) In the foreground of the first pic and in the second pic

    >On this one the clear plastic is not highly yellowed except for a strip along the front side where it is starting to get those minute stress cracks...would probably crack through there but the rest of the lower portion is pretty darn transparent.

    >The upper hose connection is broken off flush. You might be able to rig up some sort of brass fitting inside.

    >THE BLACK PLASTIC TOP---on this one IS NICE!!! Mainly because I spent a few hours wet sanding and polishing it. It's dusty in the pic but it really has a nice glossy black finish...AND THERE'S NOT ANY ARMOR ALL, ETC ON IT TO "ENHANCE" ITS LOOK.

    2)Second Overflow tank:

    >Yellowed and has a lot of fine stress cracks. Both hose outlets are there and intact. Lid has a crack on one corner. This lid was cleaned, wetsanded and shot with vinyl paint so it's not glossy like the other one.

These should be fine for a driver type vehicle...definitely not a restored car (Except possibly the Black Top that I polished).

PRICE: $10 + shipping for the pair.

Don--That will work...I'll figure shipping and we'll just go with whatever it costs to ship as the price. PM me with your address.

One lid and two tanks left.... Someone can take 'em for the cost of shipping..I'm trying to clear some space out which seems to be a never-ending task. Stuff keeps popping up in place of the stuff I get rid of:confused: It's like "whack-a-mole" around here.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Holidays.

    Thanks

Patton, I assume those are for A bodies, but would the lid interchange with full size Buicks?

Rob--Yes--one is from my car and the other I must have picked up at a salvage yard...both A-bodies.

The lid's outside dimensions are just about 10-11/16" x 6-1/4".

Maybe someone on here can compare these dimensions to a large car.

    Thanks
