71-74 big car door strikers

Could use 4 of them. Mine does not have the plastic on them and they are supposed to. Whatcha got? Probably Olds, Pontiac, Cadillac the same.

 

71 & 72 list different part numbers for the parts you seek. 71- 9815751 '72- 9601750

9601750 is the number in my GM parts book...and it says 71-74 and also 73-74 all A, B and C cars. So Century too 73-74 are the same.

 

Maybe you can locate a parts car or two and get the ones from the rear doors. They usually hold up better than the fronts. Otherwise just get the repro's. What year is your parts book? Mine was printed in Nov.'71

 

Exactly what I was thinking. Lots of 4 door parts cars still out there.

My parts book is from '75.

 

I made some for a Ford truck project using thin wall plastic pipe from Lowes.

 

autozone sells them,my kid just bought some for his 76 regal they worked perfect doors shut nice.10.00 bucks each

 

Found some on eBay. All is good!

 

Fusick Olds has the correct ones. Makes a world of difference when you install them on the 73 GS doors!
