Service replacement The two letter code (that ALL factory installed carbs received), which follows the ID# is missing. So yes, this carb was made in late 72 and purchased over the counter. Usually there is a 1 preceeding the carb's ID# on factory replacements, but not always. Looks like a good deal for $75 to me. :bglasses:
He says 'Service date" right in the auction, if you bought a carb over the counter or your carb was serviced under warranty in 72 or 73, thats the carb they would have given you
