I have a friend looking for a 71 GS 455 4 speed --preferably a stage 1 but he may consider the right non stage car.

Jim, I just sent you an e-mail about a '70 I saw advertised.....if your buddy passes on this one, we can post the info here for the masses!

I sent you a thank you. My friend is set on a 71 stage 1, 4 speed. At the top of the wish list is that it also be an X but he may have to settle for less.

Whew, I that I had missed one!

I remember seeing that one a little while ago. Figure if it was any good, PDX Mike would have bought it by now, he owns the Oregon market!!!!

    Thanks though Walt! :TU:

Nice car....but isn't that a 71 steering wheel and 71 seats front and back? I thought the 455 cars used the M-20 4spd trans...last year for a factory 12 bolt in GS's (Oshawa, Canada built) was '69...I would really want to see the cowl tag (or some paperwork) on that car, maybe someone didn't like a bench seat? BTW, trying to be helpful, not cynical...

Well PDX mike is the big dog around portland for buicks. But as luck would have it I did find one before he did and for that I am a prood owner of a 71 gs 455 4 speed. That was bought in oregon at a local dealer ship and was driven intell 1980 when it was parked with 47,000 miles because of the gas wars. I wish he would have parked it in the garage but oh well it was still a good find. I am the second owner and some of the local buick guys might have seen it this year at the portland roadster show.

Well I don't want to take over the thread but I do hope your friend finds what he is looking for. Their are not that many of these cars around anymore. :TU: :beer
