71 GS w/n-25,Minneapolis craigslist

not mine, just saw it on craigslist search and I do feel a little sorry for a guy desperate to trade his GS for a mini-van

I've tried to e-mail this guy a couple times and get nothing.

 

I looked at the brown one yesterday. It was so rough that I could even find enough parts to use to make a clone out of my convertible. The engine is in pieces and I mean every piece is in a rubber made container. There is rust behind the rear window. The center console is melted on the driver's side. Don't know how that happened. the rims were terrible. it doesn't have front disk brakes. There are holes in the trunk pan. If this was a regular skylark coupe it would have seen the crusher years ago.

The doors and hood had some surface rust. I guess they could be used and he did have the GS455 air cleaner still.

 

Funny, I called him as stated in the ad and talked to him. :bla:

 

Did you look at the numbers on the block? is this a Stage car or did the emblems get added.

 

Just the emblems. They didn't even change the sticker on the air cleaner. I saw the heads and the exhaust ports were the standard one.
