I have made a decision to part with my '71 GSX. It has around 87K miles. It has a new 500+ horsepower motor with 100 miles, all new wiring harnesses from the dash out to the fire wall, engine harness, new door panels, new rain shield panels in the doors, new sound detonator, new carpeting, new window cranks, new grille, new 24 hour in-dash quartz clock, new am/fm cd player, new console with wood grain, new console door, new wood grain on dash. It's all original sheet metal. The body is arrow straight. The only thing left to do is plumbing for the heat and air conditioning. It is a great car - a real head turner! Feel free to contact me for more information. My phone number is 612-619-2252.

    I'm asking $26K OBO.

Pictures of the car can be found at the following site - they will speak for themselves:

    Yes Randy
What is your car, is it a skylark GSX clone is it a GS 350 or 455 GSX clone ?
Kind of important and should be in your listing!

There is only one Black GSX listed in the registry and I think (not positive) it belongs to Brad Conley. Documentation is real tough on 71 and 2's. This is a gorgeous car regardless.

The car is originally a 350 4spd GS, the hole for the shifter is still in the car under the AT console. I ridden in this car and it's absolutely beautiful. It pulls very hard and sounds freekin MEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I had the Cash it would be in my driveway. This is GKMOZ's old car and has had a ton of work done to it since Randy purchased it. All the work done on it since he bought it was done by Dan Hopkins here in Lakeville, MN. He does top notch work.

    Randy,
I can't bare to see it go..Its been in my shed to long..I wish i hadn't so many current projects going, I'd buy it and hold it over your head for years to come. This is a beautifull clone, I've been working with Randy for the past two years as his budjet has allowed . he has brought it back from a wicked race car to a full streeter. The engine is a 0 deck forged piston, ballanced, bhj balancer, stock rod, studded mains, ported heads, 118 cam w/super scavanger headers. The many test drives I've had have been memorable :Brow: any body is welcome to email me with any questions about the engine or the work that has been done. :beer

    Not an Original 4 speed

I owned that car 1 owner prior to GKMOZ and it was originally a bench seat coloum shift car as I personally cut the hole in the floor and did the 4 spd conversion.I dont mean to deter from the car but I just want to keep it real. Thanks Tim.Cra was brought up to WI from Texas by a guy in the Air Force in the late Eighties.I sold it to Jeff D who did the GSX clone work. Its just a beautiful car,not many better.

Thanks Tim for chiming in we notice the hole for the shifter when we installed the new console and assumed it was 4speed car. With all the improvements i have made to this car its pretty awesome now. The car was very nice to start with when i got it from Gary but i have done major improvements to finish it off.
    Thanks again Tim.

When you say all that needs to be done is the plumbing for the ac/heater, could you expand on that? Is the heater/ac box and contents attached to the firewall and inside the car?
    Thanks

The heater box/Ac that attaches to the firewall has been installed and the fan was tested and works. I have the condenser which is not installed yet and the a/c bracket. I dont have a compressor or the lines for the plumbing. I hope that anwers your question. All the hard work is done.
I would of liked to finish the project but the new motor and having the whole inside of the car redone i ran out of $$$. But it turned out really nice. I will be advertising the car in quite a few places shortly and in early May we have a big Buick show/swap meet if i still have the car it will be there for sale.

    Hi Randy,
Yes, I know exactly what you mean by all the hard work is done. I asked because I saw the heater cover plate on the firewall. I have installed a heater core in one of these cars and NEVER AGAIN!
