The frame appears to be in really good condition, no rust, no rot, no damage.:TU: My wife says to strip it down, cut it up and get rid of it. :rant: Wheelz says that someone on this board needed a frame recently and I should list it. :Brow: I hate to destroy a good frame if someone needs it but space has become an issue. If that someone was in Florida, they could come & get it but I don't know how would you ship it? I am going to keep the spindles, the disc brakes and the rear-end so it wouldn't roll. o No: So if you need a frame from a 71 Skylark, let me know. I'd like to get $500 for it but I'd probably take less. Here is a pic of it in all its pristine beauty. :laugh:
Jeff.. does that chassis come with the HOSE and custom HAND manufactured left rear wheel "stopper-block"??? if so, Gottabuddy in Pinellas County who is needing a hose and block EXACTLY like the ones you have!! Imagine that! AND BEST PART IS... YOU get to keep the chassis!! Wooohooo. he tells me he needs a BLOCK to bend some steel window protective "rods"?? and a 50' hose to slide down a wall?? Thanks George. Yes I got it. :TU: He was looking for a "Rolling Chassis". His defination was "a project car like a Camaro with a good dash and a bad motor that he could go to cruises with and sometimes take to the track". He was a very nice guy who had, for his first car, a 71 GS, but didn't want a big project. So we parted friends, but alas, no sale. o No:

The hose, however, I do have one extra so I could sell that_ make me an offer (no rot, no holes, after market male end). :laugh: Why don't you get this frame from me and make it purdy like the one I saw at your house and then sell it (OR SELL IT FIRST AND THEN DO THE WORK). You know, new lines, bushings,clips etc. I'd wait to be paid until it sells. :Brow: I only care about the disc brake change-over.

I just chattid on Sat'dee with a feller in St Pete!! who has a 69 GS 400 vert...the chassis at the rear where the bumper hangs is rotted away on one side! Jeff, You need to post that frame on Craig's List Tampa Bay, www.realoldspower.com and www.performanceyears.com Make sure you post pics with it. If you are not a memberon ROP or PY, email me pics and your contact info and I will post it for you. You need more exposure....it will sell....just takes some time....if you have it in front of the house.....two men can easily carry it....and put it in the back yard or side yard for the time being.
