check out the trunk and quarter misalignment issues. how can a trunk be that badly out of adjustment and still close??
Back in my youth- a buddy advised me never to buy a car that had been repainted white- hides too many secrets.:Smarty:
I actually had a painter friend that would joke "If it ain't right, paint it white"... at least, I think he was joking... Buyer beware, but he's also not asking much for a convertible, so I agree that it's worth a look if you happen to be interested in a project.
Maybe the trunk lid is from a different year model, too? It looks a bit too long(?) I agree a closer look would be good. Look at the picture of the left side below the glue on molding; It's a bit wavy I've done it. I had a 1966 chevrolet sedan army staff car (olive green factory paint). I had it painted white (no body work whatsoever). I had to beat buyers off with a stick!!
Is it just my eyes, or does the bottom of the drivers side (everything from the door back under the body line) look to be wavy/dented?
Handcrafted in BONDO....... looks just like one of my parts cars, filler an inch thick on the rear of the quarter...... Maybe a decent proj with quarters, but i'd look it over carefully.....
