I had a 69 Stage 1 convert with them, took them out before I sold it. Mike, how many 69 converts with them?
I have a set for the convertible. They attach to the convertible top frame and the belt slides through the panel (see picture). It attaches to the male side in the front seat. .
I would think you could make some if you really wanted them. All you would need is the measurement to know how long to make them.
I wouldn’t want something made up, I’m a purest. And I think there’s some sort of cover for the anchor point and also I would need that plastic piece for the storage on the lower armrest. I saw a picture of them on a car somewhere.
if I'm correct that was my friend Bob Stillwell's car. He raced it many times in BG before the restoration and he still goes with me there. It had the 700R4 he installed. I bet "Wheelz" would know for sure. Dennis did a lot of the work on that car. I bet he wish he could of gotten that kind of money for it. Fernando
71 stage 1 ht with this option. Still researching if original or over the counter. 2 owner car 2nd guy bought in 72.
My 71 GS hardtop came with deluxe belts and the holders on the front of the rear seat. Bucket seat car. Equipped with option code J3 per window sticker.
I had a 71 Skylark Convertible that came with the shoulder harnesses from the Factory. The car had a complete set, including the holders. It had so many seat belts it was insane. I traded them for two sets of seatbelts, so I had a set for another car. My set went into a 71 Zone Car that was being restored. Duane
I thought I'd seen these in the accessories brochure but just looked @ a few years' brochures on @priariecanary's site (www.gransportstage1.com) & didn't see them so was questioning my earlier post but based on your post obviously they were available.
I've got a couple sets of the holders in GM packaging. I'll dig them out in the next day or so and post a picture/part numbers.
I’m always on the lookout for a set of Coupe rear shoulder belts, what a cool option to have. Got any, I’ll buy them!
