I don't care..I'd own it and drive it. I have a lowly Skylark with a 70 Stage 1 motor and 72 Stage 1 heads. Some days I wish I would have left the 350 in,but I enjoy it none the less. If that were this car,I'd like it even more. Car seems clean, taken well cared of and a nice driver. I am betting there are more than a few GSX 350 cars that are 455's now..I personally know of another. I am sure there are less 350 GSX cars left than anything. It's not am embarrassment to have a 350.
I love small block cars! They're such good runners. If I had the bucks, Id buy that X and convert it back to small block status.
I gave Bob the motor for his car and told him if it were me,I'd enjoy the 455 awhile then in a year or two,I'd have both the transmission and motor redone and install it.You don't get that chance very often..
Ain't that the truth....that'd definitely be a cool way to go. Play around with a built big block until you were more "mature" then drop the small block back in and have a nice little cruiser.
Anymore just to have any buick gs car is hard to find a decent one and the X even better some just can dream about it today as prices are up but worth the investment. Auto or 4 speed they are a blast to drive 350 or 455 they both run good my grandfather 71 wagon just ripps it up still today never been apart 350 350 hp I just happen to have collected my 3 stage 1 cars when prices were low in the 80s like my father who has several and a X no one ever knowing the value to be insane like today so weather or it is the X or not its a BUICK and still alive
