Did all '72's that came with a 350 have the 350 emblem under the Skylark script? Previous owner had all of the trim and emblem holes filled, but I can see on my quarters that there were 4 holes in a sort of diamond shape. The horizontal holes are about 5 inches apart, and the two vertical holes which are between them are maybe 2.5"? I can't find pictures of quarter emblems that would use holes in that orientation. There's a real old post laying all this out but I can't find it. Thanks!
The only emblems available on the rear quarter panel of a 1972 Skylark that I know of were "Skylark", "350", "Custom", and "Sun Coupe." The "Skylark" used three holes in a V formation. I can't think of any emblem that would use a fourth hole above that.
