I guess all the crap piled on it is the allure?

Would make an awesome base for a hot rod...no body or paint needed....all the $ could go towards horsepower and suspension...but damn 20k

If it is included with the sale that would be a big boost

Wow, how times have changed. About 15 years ago I tried to sell my ‘72 Skylark hardtop, 350-2, for $2,000 and it never sold. I only had one person even respond to the ad and he basically told me that my reliable, drive anywhere, ‘72 Skylark was overpriced. My friends all just told me it would be a good parts car for a GS.

No, fast forward 15 years and people think that $20k is a reasonable asking price for a non-running 350-2 ‘72 Skylark with a halo roof and the metal grille?

People just put these high prices out there to see if any dummy bites. Most never sell and are for sale for years. Plenty of these type of cars out here in CA.
