Looking for a good used 72 door latch assembly. This is the part that mounts inside the door at the rear that the door lock button and rod connects to and the post on the quarter panel snags when the door is closed. I need the Drivers side latch. Thanks, Larry Gibson

Pat, Yes, it is held on by three screws. One at the top and two at the bottom. The latch on my 72 went bad last fall and I picked up a 70 from a board member but now I need the 70 latch for my GSX. The drivers side is hanging up and causing me problems. So my plan is to take the 70 latch off the 72 and put it on the GSX and replace the one on the 72. I thought I'd fix this before Salem. It's embarrassing when you can't get the door open on a GSX! Thanks for looking. Let me know what you want for it and how much the shipping is. I'll send you a money order. Might Have That Larry-I have numerous 70-72 A-Body doors here,but no actual Skylark/GS doors i want to take apart.If you think any A-Body Latch will work then i definitely have one for you. Just let me know. Jeff
