    Gentlemen,

Seller of this vehicle here. I received a call from a board member saying my car had made it on the board and I haven't been on here in years and was surprised I guessed my login.
Before I go any further, Admins if I do something I'm not supposed to, or this needs to get moved into the for-sale section please just let me know. Kind of a unique situation and I just want to share more about the car.
I used to be really active on this forum when I first got the car until I left for the Marines (about 16 years ago) and my dad took over the account until I moved the car to NC once I finally got out of the barracks. You may have interreacted with one of use before.
To address some of the comments/questions.
I get some of you don't like the color, I was 16 when I had it repainted, none of us were making good decisions at that age ok. It's "Ford Azul". I am surprised you mentioned the color and not the skunk stripes on the GS (sacrilege I know).
Originally a bench seat car, yes, per the Sloan report (good eyes everyone). It came like that when we bought it in 2004.
Bonus point to anyone who can guess the original color combo before I figure out how to post pictures of the Sloan docs and trim tags.

Here is some more info about the car before I post more pictures. Made in Flint, sold in Kentucky. We bought it from the gentleman who brought it up to Michigan in 2004. He was going to restore it with a friend who passed away from cancer so he sold it to me and my dad as a father son project. Didnt drive it in the winter and kept it in the garage since then. We had the motor and trans rebuilt and have done a lot of other engine and suspension work to it over the years. In 2005 I had it repainted at Maaco. All the other body work had been done before our time. I left for the Marines in 2006 and my dad and brother continued to work on it and take it to the track, runs low 14s, Dad holds the trophy for fastest pass in it. When I got married and moved out of the barracks in ~2016 we shipped the car from MI to NC. When I moved to AZ in 2019 I trailered it out here with me.

I'm selling because I'm in the military and move every three years and it costs me about 2 grand each time to move it. I don't get to drive it or work on it that much anymore. I am moving this summer and I made the decision to sell it in order to fund Deer Camp with my dad and brother back in MI each year. I'd rather make more memories while I can than hold onto them. If you have any questions, please ask them. If you are interested post here per the rules and then message me an offer and we can exchange, contact info. The gentlemen that contacted me today is first in line as he did see it on the board and was interested. (once again admins if I need a coarse adjustment here let me know). In my FB and CL posts i stated local sales to avoid any scam weirdness.

It does have some rust and ill show everything as best as i can in the pictures. I consider it driver quality and it runs and drives great. The blinkers stopped working about a year ago but everything else lightning works fine.

Flame orange with a covert tan painted top. That's odd..

You're killing me here with the low option, Flame Orange, & painted top. If I didn't already have a 350 4-sp project...

The clock had to be a ordering/order entry mistake (my low option Stage 1 4-sp is the same way).

    Thanks for posting the information!

Do you mean a mistake as in they didn’t mean to order it?

I'd suspect the customer (it was a special order or "sold" car) wanted a tach, esp. given the way the car was optioned (or lack thereof) & that either the dealership checked off the wrong box or when the order was entered at Buick the wrong code was used. It wasn’t an uncommon occurrence to the point there was a service bulletin (at least in '70) of how to handle instances when the car showed up not as ordered. If the mistake was at the dealership I guess it was up to them to figure out what to do.

I'm surprised it wasn't ordered with G1 (performance axle ratio w/posi).

Very neat car - I like 350 4-sp's & low option/oddball cars & would like to have another '72 someday. I'd be compelled to restore it back to orig. but unfortunately, I don't need another project (I'm sitting here trying to somehow justify it:)). I even have all the sheetmetal it needs (sans a hood) sitting here. I hope whoever gets it does restore it. Nobody would've guessed that orig. color combo:). The "Z" on the trim tag is probably because that top color wasn't "Recommended" (it was however "Acceptable").

It's actually very similarly optioned (although even less so) to my current project even down to the whitewalls & oddball painted top color combo. Mine just has the add'l remote mirror, deluxe wheelcovers, deluxe steering wheel, and tinted windshield options. Also have 'Z" on the trim tag but for no apparent. In the case of mine, the combination of H1, which required G1, resulted in 3.64 rear. I'm also quite sure mine was also a special order despite it not being indicated as such.

Please bear in mind, I love your 350-4-speed car but no matter what it is (even the hottest woman dressed in that color! Lol) that shade of blue gives me flashbacks of a super crappy & dangerous job.

Good to see you posting again and hope this cool optioned GS-350 gets a great home & helps you make other great memories :)

    Thank you, Marine!

Thanks for supplying all of the photos and information about the car, Jake. Given your circumstance, I don't blame you for wanting to sell it.

Thank you for your service to this great country, too!
