Does anybody have a good link to step by step dash removal threads? I'd like to gain access to the center speaker and some of the gauge panel lights and I don't know where all the nuts/fasteners are behind/under the dash. My car has AC and I can't seem to get around the center AC vent tube. My dash is in decent shape but has a small crack on the passenger side so I'd like to remove/repair/replace it anyway. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Doug

Just make sure you get all the little nuts off that hold the dash pad as well as the two screws that go straight up through the top of the gauge bezel. Many broken because of these. You need to take out glove box liner as well. Wish you were closer I could have it out in 15 minutes.
Thank you, all I will use the article as a guide and I think I will order one of those manuals right away! They are a bit pricey but they seem to be available in reproduction copies from Year One. Thanks again!! Doug
From TA as well, http://www.taperformance.com/proddetail.asp?prod=TA_3072 Keep looking on E Bay, you can get the best deals there. They also come on CD ROM, http://www.gearheadcafe.com/1972-Bu...m-Fisher-Body-Manuals-CDrom?search=1972 buick
Beautiful, thank you! Actually, my original AM radio doesn't work so I reached out to Rob Pacini of Precision Stereo Repair in Utica, NY to refurb/repair it. I'm going to step up to an AM/FM unit he had but he was asking if I had 10 ohm speakers. My answer waso No: Thanks for the leads, for the speakers and the manuals/cd;I love how much help/info you can get on this BB! Doug
