'72 Skyark/GS rear filler panel needed....

Hi all,

As so many people before me, I'm in need of a rear filler panel (between the trunk lid and rear window), for my '72 GS hardtop. Preferably rust free and i'd need it shipped unless it's somewhere close by in Texas. Please let me know if you have one for sale and are willing to ship it.

I think OPG and Year One sell them if everything else falls through.

Nope, not for our Skylark/GS's, unless they started making themvery recently.

 

The skylark variety is not available. If you buy one of the Chevelle rear filler pieces then you need to use the Chevelle rear window and trim pieces, and the car looks funny.

If you need just the top skin and window channel area, contact any local hot rod shop and they can make it. I had mine done back in 90. Could not find a nice one to cut out since all of our cars in FL have rear window channel rust. Friend suggested to me to contact a well known hot rod shop, they make a lot of custom cars. Spoke to the owner and told him what I needed. He said no problem. I brought the car to him and I think in a few hours he had the piece made and it looked great!
