I am selling my 72 unrestored skylark with 37,xxx miles. This car runs and drives like new. I am the third owner. It has been garaged kept all its life. No dissapointments with this car. There have been alot of nice skylarks for sale on here and ebay over the last few months but few cars even come close to the condition of this car. There is no rust in this one, I mean none.

    Exterior
The car has all original paint except for the pass side front fender. It had a couple of grandpa dings in it that could not be blended in. So I had the entire fender painted. The vinyl top is original and in excellant shape, it still has the original pinstriping around it. All the chrome is in excellant condition.

    Interior
Completely original and mint. Bucket seat colum shift car. AC blows ice cold. am radio, not working but could be something simple. I did just have to put a heater core in it recently. Only flaw inside is that the wiper switch is pushed back into the dash, not sure if the screws came out or if some bracket broke.

    Engine
Runs great slight hesitation when cold, I am sure it could use an acelator pump in it. Motor compartment has been just powerwashed no other detailing has been done. Still has the original exhast on it.

I put a new set of tires on it ,the poverty caps and 14in wheels are original.

    $12,500

Wheelz you have seen this one in person, :Brow: I really hate to let this one go but I still have a need to go racing and my 71 is my stocker.

I figured I would throw it out here for a few days before I take it up to a specialty seller in Kansas City on consignment.

I will be going to the Indianapolis area in the near future so bringing the car that far or somewhere close can be arranged.

Or I could pic someone up at the airport in KC and drive it home too. :3gears:

hey! another skylark '350' ! sweet!

i noticed the coloum shifter and what looks like buckets? is there anything between the seats?

is there anyway that you could do a huge favor for a fellow buick guy?
i also have a 72 skylark "350" mine is/was sunburst yellow with the black vinyl top like yours, black interior with floor shift. could you take some close up :kodak: of the stripes that follow from down the door up across the back of the side across the top and down the other side? when i stripped my car down i didnt even think to measeure how thick they were and how far apart they were.

if its not too much trouble send them to twint66s@yahoo.com

    thx

Robert no problem helping you out. But the car is in storage and it will be next weekend before I can get back out there.

It's a column shift bucket seat with no console.

I have seen this car in person and it is PUSS. This thing is sweet! The top and interior are soft and not faded a bit. I am a broke grad student with 4 toys already or it would be in my garage. Dave is a standup honest guy and this car is super nice. Allen

Looks like the original spare tire. How is the weatherstripping and seals? Any wind noise while driving at highway speeds? Any pics of the undercarriage?
    Great car.

Here is a few more, I do not have any of the undercarriage at this time. But that can be arranged if needed.

I can't stress enough how clean this car is, there will be no disappointments buying this car.

I do plan on putting this car in the Mechems auction in Kansas City in December.

Anyother close up pics let me know:kodak:
