Guys, I'm looking to match my rear seat, with new front seat covers. I'm finding out so far, no one has these. BUT....if I had split bench front, they are available? Does anyone know where I might find front bucket to match the attached picture of my back seat?

That is the standard interior pattern and was never used on the bucket seat interiors. Legendary reproduces that pattern but only for the application it was originally used on which is which a basic front bench seat (no fold-down armrest).

The bucket seats were only offered with the Deluxe (extra cost) interior which have the different pattern that you’ve probably seen on the Legendary Auto Interiors website.

You could possibly order a new front bench seat cover to match that rear seat and then have an upholstery shop use the inserts to make you some custom bucket seats. It would be an expensive and time consuming project but it would look cool and you would have some Buick guys scratching their heads when they saw it.

it wouldnt be hard to take the bench seat cover and cut them down on the middle and re stich a them as buckets. idk what a shop charges but not to time consuming at all.

Shop around - you might be (pleasantly) surprised at the charge to convert the covers!

Anyone know if 71-72 chevelle bucket seat upholstery would fit Pontiac or Buick same years?

I believe the Stratos seat frame is basically the same across A bodies of the same series/year. There are a few minor differences but not enough to affect the covers. They should work.

Also, you can buy 'bulk' vinyl by the yard or half-yard from some vendors. Might help on the conversion process. And yes, as a general rule, the seats convert across the same years of body styles. There WILL be minor differences in the final fit due to padding changes.

Good point about the pads Steve! You should use the pads that are correct for the covers that you are using!
