I have this 1972 Buick Skylark 10 bolt rear end for sale. This rear end came out of Montana & has no pitting. It has been totally rebuilt with a new eaton posi, 3.42 gears, 28 spline, new seals & bearings, T/A no hop bars, T/A rear cover, Right Stuff rear disk brake kit, 3" ARP wheel studs. It also comes with the rear parking brake cables, stainless brake hard lines. Rear end and all parts have less than 1,000 miles on it. Runs perfectly with zero problems.

This is pickup only in Walla Walla, WA. $1500.

I also have a brand new pair of Moser Forged axles brand new in the box that I would sell for an additional $300. with the rear end.

Here are a few more pics. This rear end is complete & ready to bolt in. Calipers, rotors, brake pads all like new.

I also have a 73 455 block .030 over & 2 nice 455 stock cranks free if you pick them up.

It's pretty bullit proof with those forged axles. It's brand new & would still be under my Special but I went to a Ford 9". Hell of a deal for somebody in the Northwest.
I even have the cpp master cylinder that also has less than 1000 miles on it that I would throw in with the rear end.

Here's a pic of the new rear.

Wrong corner of Washington State! How long does it take to drive to your area from Seattle? Also curious as to the overall length of this rearend to see if it would even fit in my vehicle with seats down,
    Thx, Todd

    It's about 4 1/2 hr's from Seattle. It's a standard length 72 A-body rear end.

From the outside of the axle (where the wheels mount) to the other axle is 61". What were you thinking about mounting it under?

I am including a CPP 1" master cylinder with the rearend. This M/C has a built in proportioning valve & a metering valve. It's a nice clean setup. I used this M/C with right stuff rear disks & stock 72 A-body disk's up front. This was a non power setup but it didn't need power, it stopped on a dime & nice & straight. The calipers & rotors are GM parts, easy to replace.

I've got all the instructions for the no-hops, T/A rear cover, rear disk setup, & M/C paperwork.

Here are the specs on the Moser axles:

1 pair of the 28 spline forged axles
Custom Race retaining plates 3/16" thick
    Studs -7/16" x 20 x1 1/4 long installed
Access hole for retaining plates, 1 in each

$1500 complete rear end as described in original post, now includes a CPP master cylinder (also less than 1000 miles on it).

$300 brand new in the box Moser Forged Axles, whoever buys the rear end has first dibs on the axles.

    Hi Frank
I am still interested in this rear end but the logistics of driving 6 1/2 hours each way to pick it up are a bit of an issue . Still a discussion at the dinner table that has to be resolved. It would have to be a weekend adventure to make it worthwhile. Although I am still very interested, I understand that it would only make sense to entertain any other opportunities to sell it in the meantime. Thx, Todd

Todd, thanks for the update. Let me know if you make a decision to purchase, I will hold it for you if you commit.

In the mean time, it's still for sale if any other board member wants it.

    thanks,
