I bought this from Ryans-GSX he had bought it from Don McCurry. Don said "I took it apart and put in new Raybestos clutches and steel plates, and a filter. I ran it at the track a few times in my GS before putting my car back to manual trans." I think the converter is a 3400 stall from Redneck Racing. Thanks for looking. This is a roller no engine. Lots of pics of the car are at http://community.webshots.com/user/hambone1958 in the 72 drag car album. I'm moving up to something quicker and need to make room. $5500.00 OBO Thanks, Alan
Who built the roll cage? What's the cage made of,and has it been certified? Do you have a grille for it? Thanx
I added a tranny and converter to the deal for the same price. I really need to move this car as I bought a tube chassis 1986 Somerset this morning to put the 525 Stage2 EFI engine in. Alan
No it is not Johns. I'm going to pick it up in two weeks. After I get it home I'll post up some pictures. It's an early Christmas and Birthday present to myself......and even the wife likes it. I did have to promise her I would de-tune the 525 BBB so it would only run 10.0s in the 1/4 to start with. The car weighs 2160lbs without the driver. Alan
I can't believe this has been sold. Pretty inexpensive ways to get started racing. Add a big block and go!
Bump. I'm going to pick up the new car and trailer Wednesday. I may not have enough indoor storage to keep this car inside. Alan
