Pretty nice car. I'll be interested in seeing what it sells for. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buic...ryZ16124QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
BobBuick will also.. He just debuted his frame off 72 Flame Orange 4-Speed at E-town last week. :kodak: :beer
Hi the owner is a board member and from my dealings with him a standup guy, if you want his name shoot me a pm. He is a real numbers guy and I imagine the car is very correct. Bill
Thanks Bill. I thought his car was a red 4 speed. I know him and I know how long he has been working on the car. Beautiful car I am sure. John
"Reserve not met" unless a side deal was struck. I have been been staying out of the loop on alot of the pricing because it got real UNFUN when cars I have had, and been able to afford all my life reached numbers like GSX at $250,000 but I really cannot believe a legit one of 81 Stage 1 convertibles didn't get any higher than this. Has the bottom dropped out? Had a friend offer me a mint 72 Suncoupe converted to 455 (not a GS) for 17k this week with original paint but everything done RIGHT but if a legit Stage 1 convert is only pulling these kind of numbers I'll keep what I have and be happy! If this was a Cuda or Chevelle it would STILL be over a 1/4 million. I am sure the reserve still reflected something comparable although it is obvious we remain the underdogs! Nice car:TU:
Bid to $35k. That is definitely less than it should have gone to. This is probably not the time to sell a convertible.
