I picked this car up this past summer and the cam was bad. I figured if I was going to do a cam I was putting it back to stock looking and get back to a correct 72 casting. A little upgraded 72 stage -1, went back to 72 exhaust manifolds also. The original air cleaner is set aside until I get finished so it does not get damaged. A temp air cleaner installed so no accidental hood damage. New top and well liner waiting in boxes will be installed also. .
I had a new 72 Skylark Sun Coupe 350 (2bbl) when I was 20. Orange, white interior. It was great but yours is far better. Terrific! As a personal preference, a white top, but not a biggie by any means.
Rich, yes it is really clean body. Original top was white so I purchased a new white top to be installed after everything else is finished. Yes, it is a Zone car.
