This is a stock motor, I was hoping to use the 455 carb while I send my original carb to Jon Osborne. Anyone done this before?
The idle circuit may be a little much for the 350. For kicks this summer I put my 72 800cfm carb on my stock 70 GS 350. The idle was welll over 1500 rpm and the idle screw was all the way out. I say that but I had a 73 Pontiac 350 carb on an 86 231 with no probs.
