OK folks, help me out here! I've got a '73 Lincoln MK IV that's taking up space in my drive and I'd like to sell it to someone who appreciates a boat like this one. I simply don't have the space for it and I don't drive it much, so it needs to find a new home. It's a beautiful old car, 80K miles, I've had it for almost three years and only put 2K miles on it, it just doesn't get driven because I really like my Riv better. The Linc has basically all the options except sunroof and 8-track, and is nearly rust free. It's got a few warts and minor irritants, but basically a real nice car for someone who appreciates the height of luxury in 1973. I'm asking $2,500 for the old girl, and if you're interested in getting all the details, just drop me an email or PM me. I'm going to post links to pics here also, and I've got more if you'd like. Thanks much.

    Jim

Don't see many worts! Had a 69 MKIII a few years ago. Not this nice.
Does it have that big ol' 460 engine?
These things are built like battleships. Mine weighed in at a little over 6000 lbs.
You didn't feel a thing on the highway.

Yes, it is a nice old car, and it does have the 460. I'm guessing it weighs probably close to 5,000, and running down the interstate at 75 mph it just sort of floats along quietly. It's got a 2.75 posi in it, so it likes the open road, but why anyone would option a posi on a 2.75 gear beats me. Must have been part of their gravel road traction tuneup!

The car is in Geneseo IL, on Interstate 80 about 25 miles from the Iowa border.
