We drive rhd so its more complicated than that. Those freight cost would be from Long Beach in California going the China route.
Unfortunally Buicks are uncommon in Australia & not a lot of people know much about them as the last Buick sold in Australia was in the late 40's from dealerships. I would have to keep the car as the car would cost more to bring than what it would sell for. As Japan drives the same as Oz & the high powerd turbo Nissian GTR's & others are coming in large numbers at affordable prices & thats what young Aussies are buying with our own V8 & turbo'd sixe's.

I cannot understand why the car has not sold over there with the 2 northern populations being large & I hope it sells as a complete package for Juxty. Sorry for taking over your post

    Rust spots and shipping costs

I just wanted to let you all know I have taken some more detailed pictures of the car now, including the rust spots. Unfortunately, the file sizes are too large to post, so email me at jlg4@sfu.ca if you want them. There are a few spots of rust on the passenger side near the bottom of the pannel, a little bit on the driver and passenter side doors on the metal wear the window joins (but not on the main door pannel), a small spot on the rear bumper where there is a minor dent. I also have some pictures of the inside and underneath of the driver side door, which is very nice looking. I also have some detailed picturs of the vinyl roof section, which as I mentioned, will need repairing.

As for looking up shipping costs, I have been getting a number of requests to do this. I am willing to help look up costs, but only to those who are seriously considering the car. Estimates to Ontario are around $1400 by train or $1800 by truck. I would imagine that most American shipping costs could be more, especially for further distances. So, if you are willing to consider shipping costs in this range or higher, I will talk with you about it. Alternatively, you could check into it yourself on your end and may find a better deal.

I hope this helps those that are interested. Feel free to email me with questions!
