Nto exactly sure what to call it and can't post a pic of it. THe rear most section of the rear fender has about a 5-6in long section that is actually plastic. Forms the pointed tail of the fender and houses the side reflector. Need a new one. Have had no luck searching the net (might help if I knew exactly what this was called!!). Only thing I have found is the filler piece that goes underneath this piece.

Any one have any sources or at least knows the exact name of this piece I'm missing. Have pic I could e-mail if that would help.

    thanks

Rear 1/4 panel filler kit ? :Comp:

(Couldn't find them for a model year 1977 Electra)

    :puzzled:

You can upload the photo to your Photobucket album and post the URL without the http://www. and .com part.

looks like a salvage yard may be your best bet for what you need, or, post an ad in parts wanted.

Keep checking on ebay from time to time, they do come up.I think that the reflector was not used in '78 and I'm sure, not in '79.However,I do believe that the basic part is the same and maybe you could be able to use a later year part by modifying it to accept the reflector.Just a thought,it will expand your searching leads.I would search for "rear quarter extension" or "rear fender extension",I've seen them both ways.Good luck.

Thanks guys. Have found rear 1/4 panel extension on a number of sites. Unfortunately, not the right yr yet, but at least that terminology is turning up more leads. :TU: :TU:

  6. yes indeed called a quarter panel extension, unfortunatlly the one you need is only on the 77 i needed the same exact part and found one at the salvage yard for $15.
