I just picked up on of his other cars. If someone wants a deal on a 69 Stg1 ....this should be it. He is very honest and will answer all of your questions.

    George,

Did you get a look at the '69? I have to come over to pick up some bumpers from Todd. Maybe I'll take a look. I'll contact the owner, but wanted to get your input first.

I looked over the 69 years ago when he used to live here in Clearwater.....about 7 years ago if I remember correctly. Car is inside and covered up. The 69 is blu/blu and was very clean. It comes with the original 400 plus another 400 plus another core 455 I left for him to include with the 69. He is now living in Panama City FL. So many people complain about the prices of Buicks but seems no one has shown much interest in this true 69 Stage1 coupe. It will need a complete resto but everything is there. Email Mark and he will give you his cell number to discuss all the details. I believe he is the third owner and I know the second owner who is still in our local Buick Skylark club.

Congratulations David. You just beat me to it. I was planning to head over to PC this morning with a trailer and Mark emailed me and said he'd gotten a deposit. Keep me posted on the resto progress. Good luck.

Thanks Donny, that's a lot of class you got there... :TU: I did not intend to beat anybody out, I ask Mark if he had any deposits (no)and if the car was still available(yes) so I took a chance. I hope it works out.

I will keep you posted :beer

Yeah, sell him the car. Please. Then maybe he wouldn't have room for one of his other cars.

Which car? the 69 stage 1?

Dang, wish i'd known that Monday -- I was passing through and would have arranged a visit.

    I'll wait on the pictures.

After talking with Donny, Dave and Greg, I made a go for the 69 Stage and was 99% sure I was going to buy it. Then, the price suddenly jumped up to $3500 FIRM. So, I am totally out of this one. Mark was nice, but I don't like the price jumpin' stuff :Do No:
