Can anyone tell me if a 1969 or 1973 Buick 350 fit into this car? It has a 3254L Tranny. The 307 just doesn't cut it for me. I'm restoring this car "frame on" and want more HP & torque.

A 1977-78 Olds 403 was recommended due to the large bore& stroke in a small block package. Will it fit and what is your opinion on that, vs the above 350's which already has most of the HP I'm looking for, where I could add a mellow camshaft and go!

Any and all suggestions and/or info will be highly appreciated.

Just saw this. it would get more answers in "The Bench" section.

I can't see why the 350 wouldn't work. But I have never heard from anyone who made this swap before.

Post this in The Bench and see who responds.

The Buick 350 was an option in 1979 and 1980. The motor should work as is. You'd just need the correct oilpan, pickup, starter, and flexplate.
