Hey guys, I was supposed to make Etown this past weekend but some last minute issues cropped up and I missed out....anyway. Since I didn't get to race then I decided to finally give my coworker a shot at my Skylark. He's got a 95Z28, gears, exhaust, pulleys, intake manifold(edelbrock), and some other minor stuff. He spent the last 3 days at work talking all kinds of smack.... Well onto thrusday eve. we got together and went at it. First pass he spun the tires and I put like 10 cars on him before even grabbing 3rd gear. So I lifted and slowed down. Of course he wanted to go again right away! This time I didn't spray the car till 3rd gear, then we were dead even till he missed 4th gear!!!! WHO misses 4th gear!!!! After that race he was all confident that he was all set to beat me! Now onto the 3rd run and we left even I hit the spary top of 1st gear and we were about door to door through the back door!! He finally figured out what he was doing! I still had about 1/2 a fender on him the last run! After wards he finally calmed down! And admitted defeat to the ole Buick! Stock 71 Buick technolgy and 80s NOS tech...100shot is all it took to beat em!!! This car rocks! Its the so unexpectedly fast you'd never know it!!! The weekend before while testing some 175 jets I beat up on a modded 03GT mustang(didn't talk with the guy but got a thumbs up)....he saw nothing but bumper both races!!!

Careful about Chevy guys not playing with a full deck . We have a 95 Z/28 here with a few bolt ons that would be glad to try that N2O car .
I hang with a crowd of some pretty wild and fast cars. Mines SLOW in comparison to most. My Buick is undefeated on the street and track for all grudge races to date, I don't go out of my league, but I don't look for easy wins either(I've got an LS1 car lined for this coming week). It is a true sleeper, and tons of fun to race. It doesn't feel as fast as the times show, its due to the torque band on the spray, its just plain slow on motor. The best part about this particular race is that I slowed my car down to even up the race. He was still talking smack telling people I had a 200 shot in the car!!! 55N/57F That was the jetting in the Plate for the passes....fat and no where near 200!! And he was at work while I put those jets in, so he was just trying to cover his a$$ ahead of time to his friends and his girlfriend!!! The same guy is afraid of my Dodge......lol....and he should be!
The LS1's make good power. i built a 2002 ss camaro heads, cam, nitrous, and 9" rear. On motor it ran 11.7's with nitrous tune. i got kicked off the track before i made nitrous pass.(no cage) sold the car to one of my best friends. He put it on the dyno couple weeks ago, it put down 424rwhp and 562rwhp with 150 shoot.
