Can anyone provide the routing diagrams (standard and supercharger) for the serpentine belts for a '98 Riviera?
    Thanks...

Here's a write up on replacing the belts on the Riviera.

BTW, there is only a supercharged version for the 98/99 Rivs.

Check out our 95-99 Riv forums: www.rivperformance.com

The supercharged engine was an optional engine for model years 1995, 1996 and 1997.

If you have to replace the supercharger belt on a 98 Riviera, get ready for some work. The buick engineers, in their "infinite wisdumb", ran the belt through the motor mount bracket! You have to remove the right front tire, a small access panel on the fender well, and support the engine, while you remove the motor mount to install the belt. But wait, it gets better! they couldn't use bolts on the mount, because there wasn't enough room between the motor mount and the fender well to get them out, so they used studs and nuts instead. To get the motor mount removed you have to back the studs out of the motor and remove the mount and the studs together. Then you can install a new belt and reverse the entire procedure. Be careful how you support the motor as well. Mine has a nice big dent in the bottom of the oil pan where my FORMER mechanic jacked it up a little too far. Later, Randy

Erik, that is correct. My post was meant to indicate that 98/99 came ONLY with a SC engine, NA 3800 was no longer offered.
