Hello! I bought Hellwig 55703 sway bar to my 66 skylark and looks like it does not fit, it is too wide. If somebody has sway bar out of car can you take measurement from hole to hole?

46" on my stock '65 GS front sway bar.
55703 is the correct number according to the Summit Racing webpage. The Hellwig site isn't much help, gives me error messages.:Do No:

Yes it tried Hellwig website, not much info there. My old one is 45.75" and Hellwig is 46.85".

Is anything causing an interference? I have a stabilizer bar from an '85 Pontiac Parisienne wagon on my '68 Skylark. The only thing I had to do was make certain that the clamps on the tie rod adjusters were rotated so that they didn't rub on the stabilizer bar. It takes a smart alignment guy to notice it, as I had to take it back after the alignment, since it was rubbing.

Looks like it will not rub anywhere. End links are not in straight up-down position but I think it will work.

That angle of approach may cause the hardware to wear out faster. I'd just keep an eye on it to make sure that if something is wearing that it gets addressed before damage occurs. I think my stabilizer bar holds the stuff at an angle. I'll look at it when I get a chance and let you know.
