He told me today he has a 70 skylark 350 bucket seat car coming in this week. It is suppose to be pretty solid. Didn't ask what he wanted for it.
Frank, your Namesake on the Everybody Lv Raymond show said it best. Holy Crap! Wish I lived closer. How are his prices? Maybe you could be his middle man here?
He isn't cheap, but he has most anything you want. I bought 4 nice a-arms & a nice dash bezel & some misc. clips, grommets for $200.00 today. Here are a few more Buick pics.
Steve, You are correct, it's a different climate over here, high dessert. When I moved here I was amazed at all the old solid rust free cars just sitting in fields & yards.
Spent many days of my H.S. life roaming yards like those with my fellow gear heads. They just don't exist here anymore. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Those other types just could not understand why we would go to a junk yard and not the shore.
Hey, for all you people closer to Texas, go to oldcarpart .com (can't post actual links yet since I'm a newbie) It's is a place called County Line Classics. They specialize in classic cars. Not a lot of Buick stuff on their site, but they have plenty in their yard!!! I got a whole front clip for my 72 lark for $200!!! Anyway, you can email them and such for parts!! Wil
I wonder if the 1973 Gransport is going to be saved? I know in th future these cars will be missed!:idea2: Im in Texas otherwise I would be trying to pick it up, who knows it might be a stick. Nice yard picks.:TU: Steve
Steve, It's an automatic. I've been there half a dozen times & get lost every time, also seem to see something new every time I go.
