any way that you can pick up a old buick super like 1940s :TU: :TU:

  2. there is an old super here that is dua; carb set up on it.
kind of looks neat on a straight eight motor.
several others for parts as well.
could buy a whole car complete from that guy for around $400 and the cars are not rusted that bad either.

Greg I'm still looking for a passengers side inner fender. That 69 looks like the perfect canidate. See if he will sell and give me a price. Thanks and have a great turkey day. Ron :bglasses:

  6. i think we need to ask another person that lives up there to see if he wants to help with this.
that car is 400 miles from me in a yard i visited.
lapham3 on this forum visits this yard more than me. try and get in contact with him.
i do think the inner fenders are nice on this car as you say.
the core support was nice as well.
it would be more costly to buy the whole car for around $400 and take it all
its an air car and the dash and everything is on it as well.

Hey Greg....A while back you showed a few shots of some '69 Bumpers on or near the cars

Any chance of snagging the the reverse light setup in the middle of the rear bumper ?? both looked good and I'd be interested in both

    thanks....

Could you check on the passengers side inner fender and see if it's worth saving?? I really need one in a bad way. Thanks, Ron :TU:

MAN I HATE THAT! :af: :af: :af:

I've been there and the word frustration comes to mind. I'm not going to ask you for any of those yummy parts. I just want to thank you for the awesome pictures. My favorites were the old trucks, tow truck holding the T-bird, front of the Buick 8 reply 108, and the rear wheel of the Centurion reply 191. Keep them coming and congrats on your 1000th post! :Smarty:

  13. the bumpers you are ta;king about are in sullivan
    over by jefferdon
that yard in 2.5 hours from me
is anyone on here from milwakee or madison, maybe jefferson that could go to that yard
it right on hwy 18 on the west side of sullivan wi.
he has the bumpers laying off on the ground,
i think he has like 15 of the 68=72 skylark/gs cars there
they are nice guys to deal with as well
maybe put something on the bench and refer to this thread on help
    good luck
i will be going down there again but just don,t know when

    dashes

i saw several grills for 72 skylarks. what is the story on those grills. i was looking for the plastic grills that are similar to the blacked out GS grills. I have a skylark with that type of grill.

let me know what the story is with these parts and how to get them.

  15. no story
i can find out how much if you want them?
i was trying to get out there for another member but seem to be going on several trips instead of that latly
between doc and getting better life goes on.
i will probably go out there end of the week if i get loose from here.
    will let you know
the yard doesn't give anything away if theres an interest is the only thing that might happen

For the 73+ crowd... Stage 1 GS. Unknown where the motor/ trans is. Still has the factory rear end. Nice, clean interior. Too bad there is NO FRAME DUE TO ROT!!!
If there is anyone here that needs parts, I will drop a quarter to find out if the car is for sale...

    tilt column

i see that thing has power windows and locks-if you can get anywhere with it, in addition to my earlier requests, i would really like a tilt stg column if it has one (looks like it might) and its not ruined by anything. we are all hoping...
