AC or Non-AC dash pad?

I've got a '71 GS that was gutted for racing long before I bought it. I want to get it looking somewhat original again, but can't tell if it originally had AC. I've seen people sell "AC" vs. "non-AC" dash pads on ebay and was wondering if there really is a difference. Mine has two vent locations, one on the passenger end and the other in the middle. Would this qualify it as an AC car? It also has dual levers for the kick panel vents, but I was told this meant non-AC. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tim

a non-ac-car had one outlet and an ac-car had two like the pad you are describing

an air outlet in the center of the dash pad indicates an air conditioned car, but if it has vents in the kick panels with two pull knobs, that would be a non air car.

can somebody else weigh in on this? all but one of my cars has A/C, so i dont claim to be an expert on this.

I believe the "vent knobs" were just an option. So they could still be on an air conditioned car.
