AC Resistance Le Sabre '73

    AC Resistor Le Sabre '73

    There is a (broken) resistor on top of my airco. 3 Wires, 1 power, 1 ground and 1 that leads to the pressure unit.
    Since it's broken I can't messure it,and there are no numbers on the unit.

    Anybody knows where to get a new one?
    Or, does anybody know how heavy this resistor is, so I can look for an alternative?

    If I can order one somewhere online, that would be great.

    And, a last question: what happens if I bypass the resistor?

    Is there a color code (band of colors) on the resistor or is it one of those black "mystery" epoxy filled things?

    Problem solved.
    It was not a resistor, it was a thermic safety device.
