Addco P/N 709. 1.25" Front swaybar. Here's your chance to upgrade your front swaybar. It fits '64-'77 GM A-bodies and '71-81 Camaro/Firebirds. I had it on my '76 Century for 2 years. It is the older gold anodized style not the newer black powdercoated type. Still in good shape but of course what could you do to one that would ruin it. Includes all the mounting brackets. $100 neg. I'm willing to deliver to the BPG meet in Columbus. If you want it shipped you can figure how much. The package weighs 28 lbs. and is 18"x52"x4" and will be shipped from Lititz, PA 17543. You can get more info here: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ACO-709/
Mike, I`m interested.....first in line. However can you take a picture of it and the brackets? Does it come with the bushings in the bracket? Were the bushing black rubber of some strange poly color? Dan.
Yes the bushings are included. More than likely I won't be able to get you a picture until Monday because it is at work. I will post it sometime early Monday morning. I want to say the bushings are black but I'm not 100% on that. I do know they are poly and that they are a little thinner than you would normally see so that they fit in the bracket with that thick of a bar and will still bolt to the frame. When they are in the bracket you can barely see them. Are you interested in picking it up at Columbus?
Here's the pictures. The poly is red but as can be seen it is hardly noticeable. The end link bushings are actually rubber. Still looks nice but there is staining on the forward face of it from street grime but not bad looking. No problem with shipping.
I haven't heard from Dan in quite some time so I still have the swaybar. I tried to PM but no luck. So, Dan if you get this let me know and get a check to me by the middle of next week. If not I'll go with the next guy in line. Joe, if you are still interested leave a message. I am going to E-Town for Musclepalloza so I can bring it with me. Mike
