Yes there is a kit, they run around $40.00. Click Here: http://goodies-speedshop.com/i-1488...carburetor-electric-choke-conversion-kit.html
that kit converts hot air choke to electric choke. a 71 buick qjet has a divorced choke, not hot air. here is the only electric shoke setup I have found for divorced choke applications. It says chevy but maybe it could be modified? click the link and scroll to the bottom of the page I have not used them myself. http://www.carburetion.com/quadrajet.asp
Sorry, I gave you the wrong link, try this one. It's a divorced choke to electric choke conversion kit for Buick 455. It's $60.00. http://allcarbs.com/detail.php?pid=584&mfgn=7&ctgn=16&stt=0&gb=2
NAPA has a good one, about $60. It has a "smart" module that mounts to the intake to regualte the opening. Works great.
Paul, do you have any more info, like a part number, my local NAPA is looking into it. Sounds like a good option for me living in Michigan I need a choke. I have a 72 carb on a 71 intake and 72 heads so I can no longer use the original choke housing.
