What if any aftermarket valve covers allow the use of the stock AC bracket?

No one has put aftermark valve covers and maintained their AC?

I was using Poston covers previously and now Jim W has installed T/A covers on my build. I can tall you that I ran a B4B, Poston S-divider, and a SP-1 with the tall Poston covers.Jim still has the engine so I don't know how the T/A covers will fit, but I would imagine that they are about the same. I had to modify the bolt hole on the bracket that bolts to the top of the intake. I probably could have shimmed it but anyway that worked out good for me. I never threw the a/c belt or any others and I am using stock pulleys. It appeared that the belt was just a tad misaligned, but if it was, I nver had an issue with it. And I ran the stock GS air cleaner assembly with all but the SP-1 intake. Go for it, it will work! Brian

Check your covers for straightness BEFORE you machine any holes for breathers. One of the Poston covers I originally bought was warped, of course the one I paid a machine shop 10$ to put 2 nice holes in it. :af: Poston did however send another right away with a will call tag for the bad one. That was good customer service, I figured I woudn't get one without sending the bad one back first. Brian
