Here is an air cleaner housing and lid that I pulled from a 70 or 71 Electra. Has the large/wide snorkel opening not found on a lot of other air cleaners. >Original finishes - hasn't been stripped or repainted in the past >Rust - As you can see from the pics there is some surface rust on certain areas....mainly on the lid (top and underside). I've refinished/restored plenty of GM air cleaner assemblies and this one isn't in terrible condition...any pitting (after beadblasting, etc) will be light/shallow and easily filled with a few coats of a good epoxy primer and some sanding. The UNDERSIDE of the lid has some surface rust and also may have some minor pitting once beadblasted, etc clean. >Vacuum hose metal retainer "clip" - this is spot welded to the underside of the housing and is currently loose (not attached). I will tack weld it back in place (original position) if you want that done. >Date code appears to be the 245th day of 1970 (see pic) >No major dents or dings....snorkel is also in very nice condition $75 + shipping (best to use a new HD box - extra cost) to the lower 48 states. Can post more pics, etc if needed.
