right now i have sensatrac shocks on the rear and nothing on the front which was alright cause it has a v8 but i am getting ready to order the air ride technologies shosk kit that i think is actually a s10 kit. anybody else have suggestions on shocks that will work with air and handle better? i keep trying to post a pic but it says my file is too large. i will give it another try in a few minutes. its fun stuff, let me tell ya. its an expensive setup to build for any car but its worth it in the end, just dont use cheap parts, it will kick you in the ass later.

hey thanks! they are actually eagles but thanks for the complement. i cant wait to get it painted! it now has the drivers door replaced with a 100% rust free door that is shaved, everything is shaved, so its almost ready for paint. by the way i have a decent set of 98% rust free door to fit a 81-87 regal or a 81-88 cutlass, i want 250 for them and they are in omaha, ne so if anyone is interested let me know, i dont need them right now and i need money and space in the garage more than i need them. if anyone has questions on bagging a g body let me know

Well I think you answered your own queation there about the poor handling. You said you have no front shocks so thats why the car handles badly. I know the bags leave no room for the shocks and I'm sure the air ride shock/bag combo your talking about will work fine. Do you have stock suspension other than the bags? Also did you get an anigment done?

I saw on a hot hod tv show where they compared a heavy 70's Gm car of some with new stock supension vs the air ride set up. They did the slalom and got less body roll with the bags adn good road feel.

Keep us updated on the progress.

hey, what are the tire sizes and did you cut the wheel wells? Any rubbing?

i am getting ready to do the shocks, i was just worried that it still wouldnt handle well. i have not had an alignment because i needed guages to find a consitant ride hight and i now have a dakota digital guage to display the air pressure, so that will be a must this spring. as far as wheel wells go, well they defenatly rub and i will be cutting them, i thought about fabricating some new smoother looking wheel wells but i still may stick with the plastic and raise the bump stops so they wont rub when its slammed. one thing i will recomend is making everything so that if you blow a line and have to baby her home slammed that it wont rub. i have blown 2 front lines, luckely i was close to home both times but still barely made it without destroying my tires. by the way i am running 245 40 17 or maybe they were 35, i forget but they sure put they stock sized tires on my cragers to same as far as handleing goes. the rest of the suspension is mostly stock, i have energy bushings in front and im about to do the back ones and box the arms while im at it with some 16 guage. all i will tell you is that if you like to see jaws drop when you roll through the car show, bag your car! ill keep you guys updated and keep the comments comeing.
